 SpeakEnglishGym : Approaches & Features

Ordinary Training Programs: Approaches & Features

1. Building Sustainable confidence by listening multiple accents through an interesting theme.

SpeakEnglishGym Approach:

Rule No.1: “You Must Listen to English that You Enjoy”.

Rule No.2: “In the first few weeks, you should not listen to the English that you don’t enjoy”.

With this approach, candidates gradually acquire confidence to listen & comprehend even complex audio recordings, that they might not enjoy.

SpeakEnglishGym Features:

There are over 6000 short audio sessions from a theme you enjoy.

(eg. Management ideas, Technology & Science, Love & Romance, Cricket).

These short audio sessions are in UK & US accents, and by male and female speakers.

Ordinary Training Programs Approach:

Without building solid English skills, they start with IELTS style ‘Listening Exercises’. Students get confused with accents, topics, vocabulary, phrasal verbs, idioms & phrases. Students develop mental aversion towards English and the listening practice.

Ordinary Training Programs Features:

Most of the training centres use standard IELTS test papers and recordings developed in old ‘Grammar-Translation’ methodologies. Grammar provides the rules for putting words together, and instruction often focuses on the form and inflection of words.

2. Reinforcing listening skills along with reading and writing skills.

SpeakEnglishGym Approach:

As you know, ‘Listening module’ of the examination involves listening, reading and writing skills. SpeakEnglishGym builds the skills to perform these tasks simultaneously.

SpeakEnglishGym Features:

There are over 1300 instances where the candidate can listen to short sentences, and write them down with the right spelling and punctuation. These audio recording are in various accents and by male and female speakers.

Ordinary Training Programs Approach:

There are no approaches, that can be matched or compared to the Idea-based IELTS approach.

Ordinary Training Programs, Features:

Ordinary Training Programs Approach:

There is no systematic method to positively motivate students. Most training programs use negative emotions (eg. Fear of failure in IELTS) as a motivator.

Ordinary Training Programs Features:

To hide the emptiness, and lack of depth of their training materials, many ordinary IELTS training centres believe ‘Fear’ is the best motivator!

6. Interactive Tests that are eye-openers &

build several skills simultaneously.

SpeakEnglishGym Approach:

No one skill in English is really separate from the others. Speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar are all connected. Improving in one area will almost always bring improvements to other areas too.

Moreover, through simulators, SpeakEnglishGym candidates relate their non-verbal behaviour with verbal behaviour. Candidates never forget this learning as 86% of communication happens through non-verbal communications.

SpeakEnglishGym Features:

Over 400 tests, that involve over 12000 questions and answers in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Instant scores/answers for the time-bound tests.

Ordinary Training Programs Approach:

There is no interactive tests that involves all aspects of English learning: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

Ordinary Training Programs Features:

Most of the ordinary IELTS training centres use isolated third party ‘grammar-translation’ type software.

7. Opportunity to Listen to your own voices along with the body-language and Receive Genuine Feedback.

SpeakEnglishGym Approach:

Self-correction through listening to recording of one’s own speech. This has a magical effect when it is done along with one’s own body-language.
